Author offers grad students expert insight

Esteemed scholar Kristin Semmens (right), Associate Professor of History at the University of Victoria and author of Under the Swastika in Nazi Germany, spoke with Brock University Humanities graduate students on Thursday, Sept. 21, sharing her experience researching and writing her book, and communicating with audiences beyond the academic environment. Semmens also gave an evening public lecture for the community at Pond Inlet entitled, “I won’t go along with this: Resistance by the Persecuted in Nazi Germany." The events coincided with the United Nations International Day of Peace on Sept. 21.
