PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities students strengthened their public presentation skills and contributed to knowledge mobilization during a recent poster presentation event. Students in HUMA 7P01 — Interdisciplinary Research and Writing in the Humanities discussed their capstone thesis projects with members of the Brock community on Wednesday, April 2 in the Cairns Atrium. Philip Akoje (left) shared his capstone project, "Decoloniality, Masks and Rhizome" with Associate Professor of History Jessica Clark. Other research topics shared at the event included visual representation of conflict in digital media, humanities podcasting and public discourse, and the intersections of veganism and posthumanism.
