More than 2,000 students packed Ian D. Beddis Gymnasium Tuesday, Sept. 5 to take part in New Student Welcome, which included remarks from President and Vice-Chancellor Lesley Rigg and Brock University Students’ Union President James Maxwell-Barillas, along with a keynote address from Brock alumna Emily Bagshaw (BA '20, MA '23). The event was part of the University’s Welcome Week that runs until Sunday, Sept. 10 and aims to connect students with on-campus resources through a variety of fun activities.
