The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Oct. 5 and Friday, Oct. 9.

Master of ​ Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Sport Management) thesis defence

Liam Mutunga, a Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Reimagining Leadership Diversity in University Sport: A Critical Exploration of Equity, Representation, and Systemic Change” on Monday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon in STH 361.

Master of ​ Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Recreation, Sport and Community) thesis defence

Madison DiSalvo, a Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “The Social Benefits of Campus Recreation Participation Among Post-Secondary Students:  A Rapid Review” on Monday, Oct. 5 from noon to 3 p.m. in STH 452.

Master of Science in Biological Sciences thesis defence

Frédérik Rivard, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Characterization of 7 Niagara-isolated Saccharomyces uvarumstrains in chardonnay wine fermentation” on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Master of ​ Science in Applied Health Sciences (Health Sciences) thesis defence

Ava Pollinzi, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Experiences of Sexual Harassment Victimization, Perpetration and Psychosocial Wellbeing Among a Cohort of Canadian Secondary School Student” on Friday, Oct. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. in STH 361.
