Registration is now open for Brock University's upcoming Homecoming celebration, which takes place Friday, Sept. 18 to Sunday, Sept. 20.Brock is gearing up to welcome Badgers of all ages back to campus next month for its annual Homecoming celebration.
Taking place Friday, Sept. 18 to Sunday, Sept. 20, Homecoming will feature milestone reunions, educational programming, family-friendly activities and virtual opportunities for graduates, and their families, to reconnect with the University.
The weekend kicks off on Sept. 18 with the popular alumni Faculty and Staff Coffee Hour, a celebration of Nursing graduates, Brock’s iconic Grape Stomp and one of Homecoming’s signature events: the Steel Blade Classic, the Brock Badgers men’s hockey team facing off against the Guelph Gryphons at the Meridian Centre.
Graduates marking their 25th and 50th anniversaries are invited to participate in special reunion celebrations on Saturday, Sept. 19. Through Brock’s Cameo Club program, these alumni will have the opportunity to gather with classmates and receive commemorative silver or gold cameo pins.
Also taking place on Saturday are tours of Brock’s tunnels, a family fun zone, a drop-in event for Goodman graduates, campus tours, a men’s lacrosse game and a grab-and-go Badger Brunch.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday with the annual Alumni Recognition Reception and opportunities to watch the men’s and women’s soccer teams take on the University of Waterloo.
Alumni who are unable to travel to Niagara can still participate through a variety of virtual programming options, including Global Homecoming gatherings and online events designed to bring the global Brock community together.
“Homecoming highlights the many ways Brock alumni continue to contribute to their communities and stay involved with the University long after graduation,” says Kim Post, Director, Alumni Relations. “Whether you’re returning for a milestone reunion, attending an event with family, reconnecting with former classmates or joining us virtually, Homecoming offers meaningful opportunities to celebrate your Brock experience.”
Graduates are encouraged to register early for popular events, including the Steel Blade Classic Alumni VIP Experience and milestone reunion activities.
