Master of ​ Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defences

Jordan Rogers, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Effects of a single session of neuromuscular electrical stimulation to tibialis anterior on static and dynamic balance” on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in WC 204.

Eric Corrêa Rodrigues, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Wired versus Wireless Skin Temperature Measurement: Agreement of Contact Sensors Across Warm, Thermoneutral, and Cool Conditions” on Friday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in STH 361.

Master of Arts in History thesis defence

Ace Gammon-Burnett, a Master of Arts in History candidate, will defend the thesis “Opposita juxta: Aristotelian Antithesis as the Epistemic Engine of Alexander Ross’s Pansebeia: or, A View of All Religions in the World (1653/1655)” on Monday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in RFP 216.

Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies thesis defence 

Sydney Wu, a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Mapping the Evidence on Behavioural Interventions for Dental Checkups in Children and Adolescents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities: A Scoping Review” on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. in PLZ 600F.
