Brock University graduate student thesis defences are scheduled for next week. The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Aug. 10 and Friday, Aug. 14.
Master of Arts in Psychology thesis defences
Joseph Merante, a Master of Arts in Psychology candidate, will defend the thesis “Effects of event tagging on memory and eye-movements in younger and older adults” on Monday, Aug. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Hannah Thomas, a Master of Arts in Psychology candidate, will defend the thesis “Age Differences in Distractor Processing at Event Boundaries: Evidence from Eye Movements” on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Master of Science in Statistics thesis defence
Ryan Gunther, a Master of Science in Statistics candidate, will defend the thesis “Dimensionality Reduction Approaches for Baseball Swing Motion Analysis” on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in GSB 405.

Master of Science in Chemistry thesis defence
Areeba Iqbal, a Master of Science in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis “Exciton interactions in chiral two-dimensional perovskites” on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. in closed format.
