Thesis defences — July 13 to 17

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, July 13 and Friday, July 17.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence

Rebecca Currie, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Exploring Parental Involvement in Youth Court” on Thursday, July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

The examination committee includes Charlis Raineki, Chair; Voula Marinos, Supervisor; Jennifer Silcox, External Examiner (Kings Western University); Heather Ramey, Graduate Program Director; and Christine Tardif-Williams and Maureen Connolly, Committee Members.

Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences (Health Sciences) thesis defence

Christina Grimo, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Factors Associated with the Timeliness of Antibiotic Administration Following Hospital Information System-Triggered Sepsis Alerts in a Community Hospital Setting” on Thursday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to noon via MS Teams.

PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities thesis defence

Trudy Tattersall, a PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities candidate, will defend the thesis “’A Mingled Yarn’: Needlework, Emotional Communities, and Affective Experience in Settler-Colonial Maritime Canada” on Tuesday, July 14 from noon to 3 p.m. in PLZ 600F.
