Brock University’s annual employee wellness event returns Monday, June 22, with registration opening Wednesday, May 27. Brock faculty and staff will gather for a day of fun, relaxation and connection during the University’s 24th annual employee Wellness Day on Monday, June 22.
Wellness Day registration opens Wednesday, May 27 at 9 a.m. and closes Tuesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. through University Tickets. A complete list of events and frequently asked questions are available on SharePoint.
All Brock employees are eligible to attend, but are encouraged to speak with their supervisor before registering to ensure operational needs are met.

The 2025 Wellness Day raffle raised $5600 for four student scholarships . Employees can choose from a variety of scheduled on- and off-campus sessions or participate in drop-in and all-day experiences throughout the day.
Scheduled activities include a cook along co-hosted by Aramark, pottery painting, soccer, chocolate tasting, macramé, landscape painting, native plant walks, volleyball, pickleball, golf, a ghost walk, flower arranging, a sugar shack trip and several sessions offered in collaboration with the Thorold Business Improvement Area.
Employees will also have opportunities to tour the District Energy System and tunnels, the University’s art collection and the Brock Library Archives and Special Collections.
Drop-in and all-day offerings include a Friends marathon in the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre, basketball, lawn games and self-guided visits to Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm.

The day will kick off in the Rankin Family Pavilion (RFP) Atrium with check-in at 8 a.m. and an opening ceremony at 8:40 a.m. Closing remarks, the presentation of the Health, Safety and Wellness Champion Award and the posting of raffle draw winners will take place in the RFP Atrium at 3:45 p.m.
Faculty and staff will have a chance to connect over a meal during the Wellness Day President’s Barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Market Hall. Hosted in partnership with the Office of the President, the event will feature live music as well as lunch and desserts catered by Aramark. Registration is required through University Tickets.
This year, Wellness Day will also feature two opportunities for faculty and staff to support student well-being and success.
Employees can help to raise fund for Health, Safety and Wellness student awards by donating prizes for the Wellness Day raffle at the Office of People and Culture before Wednesday, June 17.
Raffle tickets will be available in RFP 214/215 from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 19 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, June 22. Tickets will be sold in packs of 25 for $25 or 50 for $40.
Faculty and staff can also support the Campus Collaborative for Student Food Security, which meets monthly to share strategies and develop Brock Food4U programming, by dropping off non-perishable food items in the RFP Atrium throughout the day.
Donations will support a number of free food pantries hosted by departments across campus and can also be dropped off in the Student Life Involvement Commons (MCA 204) from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26.
