From pickleball to flower arranging, Brock faculty and staff can explore a range of activities focused on health and well-being during the University’s annual employee Wellness Day on Monday, June 22. Brock faculty and staff can circle their calendars for a day of relaxation and connection this spring.
The University’s beloved employee Wellness Day returns Monday, June 22 with a full day of programming focused on health and well-being.
Along with a range of on- and off-campus activities, colleagues can enjoy a meal together during the Wellness Day President’s Barbecue, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The 24th annual Wellness Day will feature some popular staples, such as pickleball and flower arranging The Watering Can, as well as opportunities to explore new workshops and speaker sessions.
The day includes the annual presentation of the Health, Safety and Wellness (HSW) Champion Award, which recognizes individuals or departments who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to fostering a culture of health, safety and wellness at Brock. Nominations for the HSW Champion Award are due by Friday, May 8. More information on the nomination process can be found on the Health, Safety and Wellness Toolbox on SharePoint.
Faculty and staff will also have the chance to support student success by participating in the 2026 Wellness Day raffle. Last year, the initiative raised $5600 for four student scholarships. This year’s raffle will open on Thursday, June 18; Friday, June 19; and Monday, June 22.
Wellness Day registration will open in mid-May through University Tickets. To learn more about the day, raffle sales and volunteer opportunities, visit the Wellness Day website or email [email protected]
