The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 12.

Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Cameron Lynn, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Trigeminal reflex regulation of human sympathetic neuronal discharge and recruitment strategies on Friday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in STH 361.

Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Recreation, Sport and Community) thesis defence

Mandisa Lau, a Master of Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Swinging toward intentionality: Exploring the process of life skills development in seasonal camp staff at a sport-based PYD camp using creative non-fictions” on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. in STH 361.

Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Nursing) thesis defence

Kendra-Lee Dupuis, a Master of Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Navigating the Landscape of Donation After Uncontrolled Death by Circulatory Criteria in Canadaon Thursday, Sept. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in STH 361.

Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies thesis defence      

Ann Mundel, a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Between Promise and Practice: Unmasking Inclusion in Ontario’s Education System” on Monday, Sept. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. in TH 150 and in virtual format.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence      

Felicidy Hocking, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “A Case Study of Child and Youth Advocacy in Ontario” on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon in WH 147.

Master of Sustainability thesis defence 

Allison Clark, a Master of Sustainability candidate, will defend the thesis “Holocene Vegetation and Climate Dynamics at Two Treeline Lakes, Northwest Territories” on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in virtual format.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence  

Chae Lynn Bush, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “When Anxiety meets Impulsivity: A Risk Factor for Poor Effortful Control” on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. in WH 147.
