GALLERY: Open House draws thousands of potential Badgers

Although Spring was in the air at Brock University on Sunday, April 6, Badger hopefuls had their sights already set on fall.

Brock welcomed more than 4,700 prospective students and guests to campus for its annual Spring Open House, providing a glimpse into the University’s innovative programming, cutting-edge research and hands-on learning and extracurricular opportunities.

The event featured an 80-booth Information Fair, 35 academic and student life presentations and guided campus and residence tours.

Making the day possible was more than 315 campus community members, including faculty, staff and 115 student volunteers and ambassadors who shared an energetic and informative introduction to life at Brock.

“The energy on campus was incredible, and the feedback we received from students and their families reflects that,” said Matthew Melnyk, Director of Student Recruitment. “Events like this remind us how impactful it is to bring people into our spaces, introduce them to our community and help them see themselves thriving at Brock. It’s a strong indicator of the momentum we’re building as we look ahead to Fall 2025.”
