Talk to explore personal influence on business internationalization

From financial resources to strategic planning, numerous factors contribute to the process of expanding a brand globally. The next Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series event is set to explore the possibility that personal values also play a role in internationalization.

Nicole Coviello, Professor of Marketing and Lazaridis Chair in International Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Wilfried Laurier University, will discuss new venture internationalization patterns and share insights from a historical study on Friday, Nov. 29 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Sankey Chamber.

Coviello’s research focuses on international business and marketing strategy and has been featured in top journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Academy of Management Review.

 In 2020, Coviello was named a Fellow of the Academy of International Business, and she has continuously placed in the top two per cent of business and management scholars globally. She has previously served as editor of the Journal of Business Venturing and consulting editor of the Journal of International Business Studies.
