Since launching a search for the next Dean of Brock’s Faculty of Education last fall, the Advisory Committee overseeing the process has interviewed a large number of candidates and agreed upon a short list.
The next step in the process, set up under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators, will see candidates for the role visit Brock during the week of April 15 for a second round of interviews that includes online public presentations and opportunities for engagement.
All members of the Brock community are invited to join each of the candidates for their public presentations.
- Amanda Cooper — Wednesday, April 17 from 9 to 10 a.m.
- Mary-Louise Vanderlee — Thursday, April 18 from 9 to 10 a.m.
- Korina Jocson — Friday, April 19 from 9 to 10 a.m.
Presentations will be 20 to 30 minutes long, with the remaining time reserved for questions from members of the University community.
The candidates’ CVs are also made available to members of the Brock community through SharePoint. Presentations will be recorded and made available through SharePoint as well. Further information about accessing the recordings will be communicated once the presentations are over.
Comments on the public presentations will be welcome by email to provost@brocku.ca until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
Any questions or comments about the search process can be sent to provost@brocku.ca
