More than a dozen Brock University alumni and staff have been recognized as business and community leaders in Niagara.

Business Link Media Group announced the recipients of the 2024 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards on Monday, April 8. The annual awards honour 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to the Niagara region’s growth and prosperity.

Among the 14 Brock graduates recognized were four University employees: Jonathan Belgrave (BAcc ’10), Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist; Lisa D’Amboise (BAcc ’11) Director, Financial Accounting and Controller; Elyse Lappano (BPhEd ’11), Manager, Student Information and Services; and Chris Ventura (BA ’12, MEd ’17), Senior Experiential Education Coordinator.

This year’s winners will celebrated at the 21st 40U40 Awards Gala on Wednesday, May 29 in Niagara Falls.
