First-generation students invited to share their experiences

Brock students who are the first in their family to pursue a post-secondary degree are invited to take part in an upcoming focus group.

Hosted by the University’s Student Life and Success team, the sessions aim to identify new and better ways to support first-generation students inside and outside of the classroom.

Taking place in person, the sessions will aim to listen to student participants to learn about the pressures, opportunities and joys they experience.

The three available session times are:

Each session can host up to 20 students and will offer complimentary light refreshments.

Anyone who is interested is asked to RSVP to the date they wish to attend on Student Life and Success’ ExperienceBU page.
