The Department of Visual Arts is inviting the Brock and wider community to submit their artworks to be considered for an upcoming community art sale and exhibition at Brock’s Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. The Department of Visual Arts (VISA) is encouraging the Brock and wider communities to showcase their artistic skills at an upcoming community art sale and exhibition.
Held in the Visual Arts Gallery and Student Exhibition Space at Brock’s Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (MIWSFPA), the FOUR x SIX Art Sale and Exhibition will run from Tuesday, Dec. 5 to Saturday, Dec. 16.
Brock students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as members of the public, are invited to submit their artworks to the gallery for consideration.
All are welcome to attend the reception and art sale that will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. All selected artworks will be available for purchase for a flat rate of $40 per piece (cash only) with artists receiving full payment for any works sold.
The artworks must be four inches by six inches in size and may be any medium including watercolour, acrylic, oil, collage, photographs or any other two-dimensional media that will fit on a four-inch by six-inch support such as paper, canvas, cardboard, wood or stone.
