Event to showcase student wellness, success resources

With the Fall Term well underway, Brock students are invited to learn more about various student supports available across campus.

Taking place Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Market Hall, Wellness and Success Day will connect students with nearly a dozen Brock services and supports in one convenient location.

Laura Lane, Manager of Learning Services, said the event has been strategically timed based on the needs of students.

“Now is the time when first assignments are due and students are beginning to face some mid-term stresses. We want to help them feel prepared and connected to all of the resources they need,” she said.

Co-hosted by Learning Services and the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, the event will also include representatives from Academic Advising, the Brock Library, Student Life and other on-campus support services.

Those in attendance will also receive free pizza and be entered to win a grocery gift card door prize.

Additional information about the event can be found on the Wellness and Success Day ExperienceBU page.
