Student info session to highlight Croatia Field Course

Brock students interested in a unique field experience this spring are invited to an information session on the Croatia Field Course (GEOG/TOUR 3P37) Wednesday, Nov. 2.

The Department of Geography and Tourism Studies will offer the one-week field course in the spring 2023 in partnership with the International Tourism and Hospitality Academy at Sea.

The OSAP-eligible course earns students one half-credit and is open to any Brock student, as well as students studying at other institutions, through a letter of permission.

Students from any major or year of study can apply, but those who do not meet the prerequisite of two credits in either Geography or Tourism courses will need the permission of the instructor.

Brock students accepted to the course will be eligible to receive a travel award from the Faculty of Social Sciences to support travel expenses.

Students interested in learning more about the Croatia Field Course are invited to attend the information session Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. in Mackenzie Chown C-405 or to contact Professor David Fennell for more information.
