Clothing drive to collect gently used winter items for Brock students

As outdoor temperatures cool, units from across Brock have joined together to organize a winter clothing drive for the University’s students.

Brock International, Student Life and Success, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and the Friendship for Overseas College and University Students (FOCUS) club have partnered to collect gently used winter clothing items.

The clothing drive will run until Tuesday, Oct. 18 and the following items are being collected at both the International Welcome Desk (located on the second floor of the International Centre) and the Faith and Life Centre (located in Alphie’s Trough):

  • winter jackets
  • winter boots
  • scarves
  • blankets
  • socks (unused)
  • gloves/mittens
  • winter hats

Students will be able to pick up clothing Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the Faith and Life Centre between 4 and 6 p.m.

Further information can be found on the event’s ExperienceBU page.
