Brock LINC seeking students for new advisory council

Applications are now being accepted for the newly formed Brock LINC Student Advisory Council.

As members of the council, students will act as advisors to the Brock LINC and collaborate with staff to share feedback, provide insights on student needs, generate ideas and new initiatives, and be a resource to promote Brock LINC activities. The council will also support the development of the Brock LINC community in the areas of creativity, innovation, research and entrepreneurship.

The Brock LINC Student Advisory Council will consist of up to 10 members, representing each of Brock’s seven Faculties, including three graduate student representatives.

An ongoing commitment over the academic year is required, with council members attending monthly meetings, promoting Brock LINC events, programs, activities and services to students in their respective Faculties, and, depending on their schedule, attending Brock LINC events.

Positions on the council will be for one year, from May 2022 to April 2023. Upon completion of the one-year term, council members will be provided with a $250 stipend.

Interested students are asked to submit an application, including criteria found on the Brock LINC website, to BrockLINC@brocku.ca by Friday, April 29 for consideration.

Questions can be directed to Cassie Price, Program Manager Brock LINC, at cprice2@brocku.ca
