Brock to host Town Hall on equity, diversity, inclusivity and decolonization

Brock University will host its next Town Hall on Friday, April 8 with a focus on equity, diversity, inclusivity and decolonization.

Open to the entire Brock community, the virtual event will take place on Lifesize from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Fostering a culture of inclusivity, accessibility, reconciliation and decolonization is one of the four key pillars of Brock’s 2018-2025 Institutional Strategic Plan. Meeting that goal will be the result of work from faculty, staff and students from departments across the University.

The upcoming Town Hall will include conversations facilitated by members of the President’s Advisory Committee on Human Rights, Equity and Decolonization (PACHRED) and be chaired by Interim Brock President Lynn Wells.

American Sign Language interpretation will be provided.

The link to access the Town Hall will be made available the week of the event and will be posted in a reminder article on The Brock News.
