GO-VAXX clinics coming back to Brock in February

The Ontario government’s GO-VAXX bus initiative will roll into Brock University for two more days in February.

The fully accessible mobile vaccine clinics will be set up in the parking lot of Brock’s main St. Catharines campus on Saturday, Feb. 5 and Sunday Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Clinic staff will be administering vaccines in line with Ministry of Health guidelines. Anyone under 30 will receive Pfizer and those 30 and older will receive Moderna.

Appointments are required and can be made through Ontario’s booking portal or by phoning the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900. Students, faculty, staff and anyone from the wider community are welcome.

In addition, Brock’s Student Health Services continues to host ongoing booster shot clinics Mondays and Wednesdays at Harrison Hall. Appointments are required and must be booked online through the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre booking link.

Other local vaccine bookings are available through the Government of Ontario website as well as through local pharmacies.

All Ontario adults are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster. Proof of receiving the booster can now be uploaded to the my.brocku.ca portal. Further information about vaccine requirements will be provided in the near future.
