Brock to host rapid antigen test distribution clinic

*Note: Due to significant demand for the test kits, all available pickup appointments for this week’s clinics have now been booked.

Brock students, faculty, staff and the wider community will be able to get free antigen test kits this week at the University’s main campus.

The Government of Ontario is hosting a pop-up clinic inside Brock’s Ian Beddis Gymnasium to distribute the rapid antigen test kits from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Jan. 14.

There will be 1,000 kits (each containing five tests) available for pickup each day, with one kit available per household. The clinic will be appointment-based and a 15-minute pickup time slot must be booked in advance by going to the province’s rapid antigen test pop-up booking website.

Parking for the pickup clinic will be free and located in Lot P, located next to Brock’s Alumni Field. Overflow parking will be in Lot B (next to the Lowenberger Residence). Public transit is available and will drop visitors off in front of the Rankin Family Pavilion, where signage will direct them to the clinic entrance.

If you plan to access the free antigen tests at the Brock pop-up clinic, please remember:

  • Pre-register on the government test pickup booking site.
  • Wear a face covering and follow public health measures on site at all times.
  • Bring assistive or accessibility devices if you need them.
  • Dress for the weather as you may need to stand outdoors.
  • Do not visit the pop-up site if you have any symptoms of, or have been exposed to, COVID-19. Instead, visit a designated testing location.
  • Bring identification showing home address as there is a one kit per household limit.
