Brock residences set to reopen

Brock University will soon welcome students back for on-campus residence and dining operations.

All residence buildings and both dining hall operations will be open and available for residence students at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22. Until then, only students with exceptional circumstances are approved to be in residences.

In order to follow public health guidelines and provide a safe environment for the Brock community, prior to arriving back to residences students must pass screening through the Brock COVID-19 screening app. Proof of a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose will also be required for all students living in residence as of Tuesday, Jan. 25.

Proof of booster can be uploaded to the student portal through the Brock COVID-19 vaccine web page.

In preparation for the students’ return, additional measures have been put into place to better manage the health and safety of all residents and staff.

Residents are asked to review the frequently asked questions page, which includes additional information on COVID-19 boosters, refunds and health and safety measures.

Partial credit will be applied to student accounts in the coming week reflecting the time in which residences were closed and unavailable for a portion of the contract period. Students are asked to monitor their Brock University email accounts for additional information about the partial credit over the coming weeks.
