Realignment for International Market Development

With the aim of better supporting prospective students, faculty and staff, Brock University’s International Market Development (IMD) is being realigned.

Earlier this year, the Vice-Provost, Strategic Partnerships and International initiated an external review of international recruitment and student services.

One of the recommendations made through this review was the realignment of IMD to fall under the purview of the Office of the Registrar and Associate Vice-President, Enrolment Services, which includes Admissions, Recruitment and Liaison Services, Enrolment Operations, Enrolment Supports and Institutional Analysis. This change was recommended to better align recruitment efforts, remove barriers to access and optimize resources.

Effective Friday, Oct. 1, IMD will join the Office of the Registrar. Director of Student Recruitment Matt Melnyk will serve as Acting Director, IMD as the transition is made.
