GALLERY: Brock’s campus in blossom bliss

The cherry blossom trees in front of Brock University’s main entrance are now in full bloom, transforming the green space with a bounty of delicate pink flowers.

The Japanese government donated 200 Sakura trees to Brock University as a gesture of friendship between Japan and Canada in 2003. The gift was part of the Sakura Tree Planting Project, which saw 3,000 Sakura trees planted around Ontario.

Brock will be sharing cherry blossom content through its social media channels to allow the University community to enjoy the experience from the safety and comfort of home.
