Brock University COVID-19 update for April 1

As of Thursday, April 1, the number of Brock University residence students testing positive for COVID-19 stands at 22.

Brock continues to work closely with Niagara Region Public Health after a COVID-19 outbreak was declared in student residences on Friday, March 26. The University moved back into Brock Stage 1 (Grey/Lockdown) last week after learning that a number of individuals had tested positive.

Including the 22 students who have tested positive for COVID-19, there are a total of 63 students currently isolating in self-contained units in relation to the declared outbreak.

Any students who are experiencing symptoms or have a medical concern are asked to contact Student Health Services immediately at Covid19Nurse@Brocku.ca

The University reminds all members of the Brock community, students, faculty and staff, to respect and adhere to public health guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Further updates will be provided as they become available.
