Roundtable to explore posthumanism and spirituality

Brock’s Posthumanism Research Institute is hosting an online roundtable looking at how aspects of spirituality intersect with posthumanism in theory or practice.

The presenters for “Posthuman Spirituality” include PhD student Mitch Goldsmith from Brock’s PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities program, and David Fancy, Professor with the Department of Dramatic Arts.

Following brief presentations by each speaker, there will be an hour of open discussion. This informal roundtable format provides an opportunity for researchers to engage with each other on important posthumanism topics.

The event will be held via Zoom on Monday, March 8 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Posthumanism Research Institute hosts a roundtable each semester. Researchers with the institute investigate human relations with non-human animals, organic and inorganic life, and human-made technology.
