Reminder: COVID-19 response, budget update on agenda for Town Hall Friday

Brock University faculty, staff and students are invited Friday, Feb. 5 to participate in the first of two upcoming virtual Town Halls.

From 9:30 to 11 a.m., employees can take part in a discussion about Brock’s COVID-19 response and the University’s budget and financial health.

The meeting will be attended by President Gervan Fearon, alongside other members from the senior leadership team.

Both of the Town Halls will begin with a short overview presentation, followed by a virtual ‘open floor’ discussion with questions submitted to the speakers. They will be open to all faculty members, librarians, staff and students.

In order to participate in this week’s Town Hall, staff, faculty and students should join the meeting’s Lifesize page on Friday at 9:30 a.m.

The second Town Hall, which will take place on Friday, March 26 from 9:30 to 11 a.m., will provide a more detailed look into the budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year.
