BUFA collective agreement ratified

The tentative collective agreement reached between Brock University and the Brock University Faculty Association (BUFA) on June 19 has been ratified by both parties. The new collective agreement was reached following two months of productive discussions between the Union and University’s negotiating committees.

Brock President Gervan Fearon, along with Brock’s Board of Trustees, would like to extend their appreciation to the BUFA negotiating team for their preparation and hard work throughout the process, which helped to ensure the new collective agreement could be reached before the expiry of the current one.

Now that the agreement has been ratified, the new collective agreement (in draft form) will be available for review on the Human Resources webpage. The new three-year collective agreement came into effect on Wednesday, July 1.
