Brock community invited to present at women’s leadership summit

Members of the Brock community are invited to submit virtual proposals for the Niagara Leadership Summit for Women (NLSW), which will be held from Tuesday, Oct. 20 to Thursday, Oct. 22.

The event is normally hosted at the University; however, due to ongoing physical distancing regulations, this year’s proceedings will move online for the first time.

Presentations at the summit will align with the theme ‘Rise Together,’ which aims to focus on how women can be lifted up through their different and meaningful leadership roles.

Interested presenters can register to lead webinar, workshop or panel sessions. Anyone who is seeking additional feedback before submitting their proposals is invited to consult with Brock’s Women in Leadership Group, which meets regularly to encourage women at Brock to take leadership roles at the University and beyond. Questions can be sent to Kristen Smith, Manager of Student and Community Outreach at kristen.smith@brocku.ca

Proposals must be submitted online by Friday, Aug. 7.

More information about submission requirements can be found on the NLSW website.
