English master’s colloquium goes digital

The annual colloquium hosted by master’s students in the Department of English Language and Literature has gone digital this year.

This year’s theme is “Texts Beyond Texts: Traversing Canons from Sea to Shore” and includes research on a variety of topics, including pickup artists, Syrian refugee identity on social media, film adaptations of Moby Dick and Agatha Christie.

The in-person poster session was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In its place, students created a dedicated Instagram account to display their research posters.

Viewers do not need an Instagram account to see the posters, although those with Instagram accounts are welcome to leave messages and questions for students.
