Event on working with Niagara Falls Museums cancelled

EDITOR’S NOTE: This event has been cancelled as part of Brock University’s ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and the community in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the success of an initial meeting last month, representatives from Niagara Falls Museums will be returning to campus to discuss with Brock University researchers their current and potential research projects that relate to Niagara.

The initiative is open to faculty members from across the University who wish to explore embedded research, knowledge mobilization and community engagement opportunities available with Niagara Falls Museums.

Niagara Falls Museums Director Clark Bernat and Curator Suzanne Moase will be there to discuss ideas for potential collaboration. Professor of Child and Youth Studies and Director of the Social Justice Research Institute Rebecca Raby will share information on potential supports available through the Institute. Representative(s) from Brock’s Office of Research Services will also be on hand to answer questions about potential funding sources available.

The meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 27 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in PLZ 600F. Space is limited and nearing capacity, so please RSVP online. Participants are also asked to complete this brief online survey which will inform the discussion. Coffee, tea and refreshments will be served.
