Join Brock’s Coldest Night of the Year team

Chilly weather is no match for Brock University’s ongoing commitment to local causes.

With this in mind, members of the Brock community are invited to join the University’s team for the Coldest Night of the Year event, which sees participants travel a five- or 10-kilometre route in downtown St. Catharines.

Taking place Saturday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m., the walk raises funds for Start Me Up Niagara, a local outreach centre that serves people who are experiencing life challenges such as homelessness, mental illness, addiction and unemployment.

Along with participating in a local cause, students who take part will also have their experience tracked on the University’s Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum under the spirit domain.

Interested participants can learn more and join the Brock team on the Coldest Night of the Year website.
