Temporary network disruption expected over next few days

Brock University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) will be performing service maintenance over the next few days that will disrupt network connectivity at several locations on campus. This includes access to the internet, Wi-Fi, shared drives and other online resources.

Mackenzie Chown Complex blocks E, F and G, including the Data Centre, will experience a complete disruption of network connectivity Friday, Jan. 31 between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. that will last up to 20 minutes.

Mackenzie Chown Complex blocks A, B, H and J, Goodman School of Business and Inniskillin Hall will experience a complete disruption of network connectivity Saturday, Feb. 1 between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. that will last up to 20 minutes. Goodman School of Business will also lose IP telephone service during the outage.  

Matheson Learning Commons, Rankin Family Pavilion, Schmon Tower, Student-Alumni Centre and Thistle Complex East will experience a complete disruption of network connectivity Sunday, Feb. 2 between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. that will last up to 20 minutes. The phone systems in Thistle Complex East will not be affected; however, Rankin Family Pavilion will lose IP telephone service during the outage.
