The Master of Arts in Geography Speaker Series welcomes Hojat Yazdanpanah, a Visiting International Professor in Brock’s Department of Geography and Tourism Studies and the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Tourism at the University of Isfahan.

Yazdanpanah’s talk, “Climate change impacts on Iranian tourism,” will discuss the ways in which Iran, listed by the World Tourism Organization among the top 50 countries for its archaeological, historical, and natural attractions, faces challenges related to climate change at key sites and locations across the country affected by aridity and low water levels.

The presentation takes place on Friday, Nov. 22 from 1 to 2 p.m. in MC C405. All are welcome to attend.
