Facilities staff preparing for cooler temperatures

It’s that time of year again when the weather starts to cool and Brock’s Facilities Management staff prepare the main campus for the heating season.

Buildings will be going into heating mode to compensate for the typical fall season daily cycle of low temperatures at night and higher temperatures during the day. Some areas in buildings across the Brock campus might also experience fluctuations in temperature as the building systems respond to outdoor changes.

Please remember building equipment is shared among various spaces. Changing the setting on your thermostat could also affect the temperatures of others in nearby areas.

Although fluctuations in space temperatures are normal this time of the year, notify Facilities Management at x3717 or email fm@brocku.ca if an area is experiencing extreme or ongoing temperature issues.
