Guernsey Market is one of seven locations on campus where people can make donations to the Swipe it Forward program in support of the Brock University Students' Association Food First program.Brock University’s Dining Services is bringing back Swipe it Forward on Wednesday, March 27.
The Brock community has the opportunity to give back to others by donating anywhere from $1 to $5 to the Brock University Students’ Union Food First program, which aims to address food and health insecurity among students. Donations can be made when making a purchase from any of the following locations: Guernsey Market, DeCew Dining Hall, Lowenberger Dining Hall, Hungry Badger, Isaac’s, General Brock and Union Station.
Proceeds from Swipe it Forward, a single-day event, will provide rotating access to a variety of services, including packages of non-perishable food and hygiene products, and vouchers to local grocery stores for those in need.
Members of the Brock community can donate with cash, credit, debit, Dining Dollars, Flex Dollars or Meal Plan Dollars.
