Campus Store pilots textbook price-matching program

The Brock University Campus Store is price matching textbooks with Amazon.ca until Jan. 18.

The initiative, available for Winter Term courses, aims to continue to improve textbook affordability for students.

“Our goal is to ensure that students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom,” says Janet Jamison, Associate Director of the Campus Store. “Our advantage is the convenience of purchasing the book right on campus, so students who typically shop on Amazon.ca do not have to wait for the book to arrive in the mail.”

The pilot project will provide a baseline for what a price-match program could look like for the September back-to-school rush.

Price matching is done in person at the Campus Store, located in the Plaza Building. The store will also be operating extended hours, open until 10:30 p.m., to accommodate students who have evening classes.
