The role of educational institutions in reconciliation will be at the heart of a forum taking place at Brock University this week.

Hosted by the Department of Political Science, the event, Truth Before Reconciliation: The Role of Educational Institutions, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. in STH 216.

A discussion of reconciliation in the context of educational institutions will take place between Robyn Bourgeois, Assistant Professor in the Centre for Women’s and Gender Studies and a mixed-race Cree woman from Syilx and Splats’in territories of British Columbia; and Karl Dockstader and Sean Vanderklis, hosts of the One Dish, One Mic podcast and members of the Oneida Nation and Curve Lake First Nation, respectively.
