Aboriginal Career Fair to be held at Brock

More than 100 secondary students of First Nations, Métis and Inuit descent will take part in an upcoming Aboriginal Career Fair at Brock University.

The Friday, Nov. 23 event is presented in partnership with Niagara College, the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic District School Board and will be hosted in Brock’s Pond Inlet.

The career fair is designed to encourage Aboriginal secondary students to consider attending a post-secondary institution, think about future career ideas or present viable options for entering the workforce now.

After a 9:30 a.m. registration, participants will hear a formal welcome, explore the fair’s information booths and listen to keynote speeches from post-secondary graduates.
