VolunteerFEST to highlight local opportunities

Members of the Brock community who are looking to lend a helping hand in Niagara but are unsure of where to start should plan to visit Market Hall Thursday, Sept. 13.

The University will host its annual VolunteerFEST, bringing together more than 30 community organizations from across the region to raise awareness of their respective missions and actively recruit assistance.

The vendor fair-style event, presented by Student Life and Community Experience in collaboration with Career Education, takes place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

A full list of participating organizations is available on ExperienceBU.

VolunteerFEST comes just days after the annual Brock Cares Day of Service on Sunday, Sept. 9, which saw hundreds of Brock students and employees pitching in with events and organizations around the region.
