What’s open and closed for the Canada Day weekend

Brock University’s administrative offices will be closed for the Canada Day long weekend from Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

However, some key areas at the University’s St. Catharines campus will remain open as per regular weekend operating hours.

The following campus services are open and closed Canada Day weekend.

Campus Security

Officers are available 24-7 by phoning x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by emailing security@brocku.ca or through the Brock Mobile App.

James A. Gibson Library

Closed: Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

Walker Complex/The Zone

Open: Friday, June 29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Closed: Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2.

Food establishments

All food services locations will be closed from Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

Campus Store

Closed: Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

Parking Services

The Parking Services office in the Campus Store will be closed from Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

Free parking will still be available in Zones 1 and 2 (except between 2 and 5 a.m.), and hourly parking is available in a number of locations throughout campus. Cars with valid permits can continue to park in their designated lot.

Student Health Services

Closed: Friday, June 29 to Monday, July 2.

Rodman Hall Art Centre

Open: Saturday, July 30 from noon to 5 p.m.

Closed: Friday, June 29, Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2.
