New buyer and new clothing line for Campus Store

Just in time for Canada Day, the Campus Store is featuring a new line of Canadian-inspired clothing, keepsakes and décor.

The new line was brought in by Sabrina Blaylock (BBA ’08), Buyer Branded Merchandise, who recently came to Brock from The Post Office, Shannon Passero’s store in Thorold.

“I’ve had a great first few months of getting to know the students, staff and faculty on campus,” she said. “It’s clear to me that we have a great sense of Brock and Badger pride on campus and I’m looking forward to finding new opportunities to elevate the brand.”

Blaylock  has worked to identify new suppliers and vendors to partner with the University. New items include outdoor barbecue and picnic gear, an updated Brock University tartan line, expansion of a sporting line and kids line, and soon-to-arrive youth and adult Badger hockey jerseys.

The arrival of the Canadian-inspired line is one of the special projects the store has been working on. These smaller lines, along with some non-branded giftware selections and jewelry, are aimed at those in the store looking for a gift for any occasion.

“We’re always looking for feedback on our product selection and I would welcome any suggests as we continue to work to provide items our customers want,” said Blaylock, who can be reached at sblaylock@brocku.ca
