Students to share stories of volunteer experiences abroad

Experience Brock’s Alternative Reading Week programs through the eyes of the people who know them best. Students will share with the University community the rewarding and life-changing experiences they had this February while volunteering outside of Canada, during a panel discussion Thursday, March 29.

The Alternative Reading Week student experience panel will discuss what they learned while participating in education and health campaigns in Lima, Peru as well as on a Habitat for Humanity build site in Sumter, S.C.

The event, which takes place from noon to 1 p.m. in ST103, aims to encourage participation and support of future ARW initiatives while also reuniting those who took part in this year’s trips for a chance to reflect on their experiences.
