Draft Executive Compensation Program

The Broader Public Sector Executive Compensation Act, 2014 (BPSECA) authorized the Ontario government to establish compensation frameworks for executive compensation in the broader public sector.

Subsequently, the government outlined principles and regulations for broader public sector employers to follow when drafting compensation programs for designated executive positions.

In accordance with this legislation, the University has completed a draft designated executive compensation program which has been approved for posting for public comment by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development and the Treasury Board Secretariat, and approved by the Board of Trustees’ Executive Committee.
