Change of hours for free Goodman tax clinic

The hours have been modified for the remaining days of the complimentary tax clinic being offered to the local community by Brock University’s Goodman School of Business.

The clinic, held in the Computer Commons Training Room in Scotiabank Hall, will continue this week with the following hours: Thursday, March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m., with the last client time slot at 3:30 p.m., and Friday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the last time slot at 12:30 p.m.

Anyone with a modest income and simple tax situation is eligible for the service, which is held in partnership with Canada Revenue Agency.

The service is free of charge and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anyone attending the tax clinic should bring government-issued photo identification, along with all relevant tax forms. The service is provided for 2017 tax returns only. Full eligibility requirements are listed on the CRA website.
