Music@Noon to return with solo piano performance

Following the Reading Week break, Brock Music Professor Karin Di Bella brings the RBC Foundation Music@Noon Recital Series back with a solo piano performance on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Di Bella is an accomplished pianist and educator. In addition to her role as a Music professor, she also works as Director of the interdisciplinary Centre for Studies in Arts and Culture at Brock.

She presents concerts regularly as a soloist, collaborative pianist and chamber musician, as section pianist with the Niagara Symphony, and as a concerto soloist with orchestras in the U.S. and Canada.

For the Music@Noon recital, Di Bella will be performing works by Canadian composer Jack Behrens, while also providing the crowd with insight into the composer and the pieces themselves.

Di Bella’s 2006 CD, Variants: Solo Piano Music of Jack Behrens, is available through the Canadian Music Centre or on iTunes.
