It’s not too late to claim a place at the summit.
Brock students are encouraged to submit workshop and TED Talk proposals for the Jan. 13 Niagara Student Leadership Summit.
The daylong event aims to provide hands-on learning and practical experience for students by engaging them in presentations and workshops that will encourage skill development and personal and professional growth.
“We are excited to see Brock students embrace the opportunity to present to the community and to experience leadership first-hand,” said Celyn Talaue, Student Life and Community Experience’s leadership development student assistant.
TED Talk-style presentations, each meant to be powerful and 10 to 15 minutes in length, will take place in Sean O’Sullivan Theatre, with speakers each highlighting a different type of leadership.
Workshops will focus on the application of leadership skills to everyday life. They will take place in Thistle Complex classrooms and run for 45 to 70 minutes.
The deadline to apply to present a workshop or TED Talk is Friday, Nov. 24.
